Inspired by Joshua Tree and the many other breathtaking and surreal desert landscapes in the southwest US.

I sought to capture the landscape as minimally as possible through simple gradients. This contrasts a colorful stair-stepped structure inspired by M.C. Escher’s architecture sitting next to a lone, wonky saguaro cactus. A magical mirage which invites you deeper into the dream through the arched doorways.
