WELCOME, CREATIVE HUMAN.

YOU’RE ON YOUR WAY BACK TO PLAY.

Hi, I’m Liz, a psychedelic artist and medicine woman.

I believe creativity belongs to all of us, not just the people who call themselves artists.

I know what it feels like to lose touch with that part of yourself. I’ve experienced creative burnout, disconnection, and the pressure to make something good instead of simply letting myself make.

I didn’t haphazardly stumble my way back into creativity, nor did I suddenly wake up ‘feeling motivated.’ I had to give myself permission to play again.

And there’s science behind that.

Creative activity can engage our attention, emotions, senses, and reward systems in ways that support stress reduction and well-being. Research has even found measurable changes in stress markers like cortisol after art-making… and you don’t need to be “good” at art to experience the benefits.

That’s why I created my free guide: Play Your Way Into Well-Being.

It’s a simple invitation to (quite literally) cut the noise, pick up some scissors, and reconnect with creativity through collage.

You don’t need an outcome. You just need somewhere to begin.

What you’ll get in this free guide:

✅ The 411 behind why making art supports your well-being
✅ An actionable, approachable collage practice… zero artistic experience required
✅ Prompts to help you choose images intuitively so that you don’t find yourself in analysis paralysis
✅ Permission to cut, arrange, experiment, and make something weird AF
✅ Ways to notice what comes up while you create vs. needing to “fix” it
✅ A practice you can return to whenever you need more play in your life

IT aLL UNFOLDED FROM A TINY “YES.”

2019: I said yes to starting my Collage Doodle series to break out of creative block.

2021: I said yes to launching my art shop and leaving my career in graphic design and never looked back!

2022: I said yes to dreaming big… envisioning my creations at festivals. Then in a powerful meditation, I received the download to project my collages.

2023: I said yes to sharing my projections at small events with friends, taking the leap even when it wasn’t “perfect.”

2024: I said yes to sharing Portals and bringing the inspiration to four incredible festival events.

2025: I said yes to 8 EVENTS including my biggest stage yet at Same Same But Different Festival.

2026: I’m saying yes to even bigger events like Lightning in a Bottle and I’ve set my sights on taking the doors all the way to Black Rock City.

What began as a way to move out of creative block became a reminder of something I’d forgotten: creativity doesn’t always need an end goal.

Sometimes you need to cut things up. Move them around. Follow the color, image, or word that catches your eye. Make something strange. Change your mind. Cover it up. Start again.

There’s no one to appease, or algorithm to impress… Just the freedom to make.

CREATIVITY CAN BE PART OF HOW WE CARE FOR OURSELVES.

AND THERE’S SCIENCE TO PROVE WHY MAKING MATTERS.

A growing body of research connects engaging with the arts to stress regulation, emotional processing, cognitive health, social connection, and overall well-being. In fact, researcher Daisy Fancourt has gone so far as to position the arts alongside sleep, exercise, nutrition, and nature as a potential “fifth pillar” of health.

In one study, just 45 minutes of art-making significantly lowered cortisol.

And here’s the part I love: previous art-making experience or skill level didn’t affect the results it had in the body.

Susan Magsamen & Ivy Ross, authors of “Your Brain on Art: How the Arts Transform Us,” found that creative activity also gives us another way to engage with our experiences beyond thinking, analyzing, or trying to find the right words. Art can engage sensory, emotional, cognitive, and meaning-making systems at the same time.

Bottom line: you don’t have to know exactly what you’re feeling to begin. Giving yourself something tangible to do is enough.

so this guide is for you if:

  • You miss being creative but don’t know where to start

  • You tend to overthink or judge what you make

  • You’ve been waiting to “feel inspired” or motivated

  • You want more hands-on, screen-free time in your life

  • You’re curious about creativity as a practice for self-care

  • You’re ready to experiment without worrying about the outcome

Collage naturally creates opportunities for experimentation, sensory engagement, novelty, and unexpected connections… all without requiring you to know what the finished piece is supposed to look like.

Grab the guide below, cut some shit up, and see what happens.
